About 6 months ago, my fellow band mate, improviser, and co-worker Nick Weber asked me if I wanted to go to Brazil with him in December of 2009. Having just made a bit of money, I was more then down to go. Fast forward to today, its Christmas and my family has all just left. I am now 600 Reals (Brazilian money) richer, 5 Portuguese words smarter, 2000 bucks poorer, and 15 downloaded movies deeper. I leave in 24 hours starting with a flight into JFK airport in new york. Considering that 800 flights were cancelled in New York alone last week, i am more then prepared for a long delay. Havinging downloaded everything from 30 Rock Season 2 to A Clockwork Orange, I have around 40 hours of airport boredom killer for the next few days.
So here I am fully prepared for the next 3 weeks of my life, and I am guessing my next post will be either tomorrow pre-flight, or after i land in Reo Dejenario!
